Cajun Alfredo
CAJUN ALFREDO
INGREDIENTS
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- 14 oz sausages, sliced 1/3 inch thick
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 12 oz mushroom of choice
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2/3 cups milk
- ½ Parmesan cheese
- minced parsley
- 1 lb fettucine pasta
SPICE BLEND
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1.5 tsp dried oregano
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1.5 tsp thyme
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cayenne pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat up some oil and cook minced garlic until fragrant.
- Then add sausages and half of your spice blend. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Then remove the heat and put into different bowl.
- In the same pan, add your mushrooms and sauté until slightly wilted.
- Add in the heavy cream, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley and the rest of your spice blend. Cook this until it is thick.
- Add in the cooked pasta.
- Top it off with sausages and shrimp.
