Cajun Alfredo

CAJUN ALFREDO

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 cloves minced garlic
  • 14 oz sausages, sliced 1/3 inch thick
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz mushroom of choice
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • ½ Parmesan cheese
  • minced parsley
  • 1 lb fettucine pasta

 

SPICE BLEND

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cayenne pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat up some oil and cook minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Then add sausages and half of your spice blend. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Then remove the heat and put into different bowl.
  4. In the same pan, add your mushrooms and sauté until slightly wilted.
  5. Add in the heavy cream, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley and the rest of your spice blend. Cook this until it is thick.
  6. Add in the cooked pasta.
  7. Top it off with sausages and shrimp.
