Honey Garlic Chicken - Easy 20 minute meal
Honey Garlic Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- 4 pieces chicken thigh, boneless with the skin on
- salt and pepper
- ¼ cup corn starch
Honey Garlic glaze
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 3.5 tbsp of honey
- 2.5 tbsp of soy sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and coat the chicken with a thin layer of corn starch on both sides.
- In a pan, drizzle in oil and turn the heat to medium high. Once the pan is hot, add in the chicken, skin side facing down.
- Pan fry the chicken for 4 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Using the same pan, add butter, honey, garlic and soy sauce. Mix and simmer for 30 seconds.
- Add back in the chicken and cook for 1 minute on each side on high heat.
- If you like it spicy add in a little bit of Korean red chilli paste to give it an extra kick.
- Serve it with rice.
