Honey Garlic Chicken - Easy 20 minute meal

 Honey Garlic Chicken

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pieces chicken thigh, boneless with the skin on
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup corn starch

Honey Garlic glaze

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3.5 tbsp of honey
  • 2.5 tbsp of soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and coat the chicken with a thin layer of corn starch on both sides.
  2. In a pan, drizzle in oil and turn the heat to medium high. Once the pan is hot, add in the chicken, skin side facing down.
  3. Pan fry the chicken for 4 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Using the same pan, add butter, honey, garlic and soy sauce. Mix and simmer for 30 seconds.
  5. Add back in the chicken and cook for 1 minute on each side on high heat.
  6. If you like it spicy add in a little bit of Korean red chilli paste to give it an extra kick.
  7. Serve it with rice.
