Spicy cilantro beef
SPICY CILANTRO BEEF
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb of thinly sliced beef
- 2 – 3 serrano peppers, sliced
- 2 Thai red chilli, sliced
- 8-10 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp Korean red chilli flakes
- 0.5 tbsp ground Sichuan peppercorn
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 tbsp black vinegar
- handful of cilantro, chopped
- 4 tbsp oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring a pot to a simmer and once boiling, add thinly sliced beef.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes or until beef is fully cooked, remove and set aside.
- In a bowl, add in the beef and top with serrano pepper, Thai red chilli, chopped garlic, Korean red chill flakes and ground Sichuan peppercorn.
- Heat up the 4 tbsp oil.
- Once the oil is hot, pour the oil over the ingredients. You can test the oil by placing a wooden chopstick in the oil, if it is sizzling, it is ready.
- Season the beef with oyster sauce, black vinegar and chopped cilantro.
- Mix till all the beef is coated with the sauce.
Serve immediately and
enjoy.
