Spicy cilantro beef

SPICY CILANTRO BEEF

 




INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb of thinly sliced beef
  • 2 – 3 serrano peppers, sliced
  • 2 Thai red chilli, sliced
  • 8-10 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Korean red chilli flakes
  • 0.5 tbsp ground Sichuan peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp black vinegar
  • handful of cilantro, chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring a pot to a simmer and once boiling, add thinly sliced beef.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until beef is fully cooked, remove and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, add in the beef and top with serrano pepper, Thai red chilli, chopped garlic, Korean red chill flakes and ground Sichuan peppercorn.
  4. Heat up the 4 tbsp oil.
  5. Once the oil is hot, pour the oil over the ingredients. You can test the oil by placing a wooden chopstick in the oil, if it is sizzling, it is ready.  
  6. Season the beef with oyster sauce, black vinegar and chopped cilantro.
  7. Mix till all the beef is coated with the sauce.

Serve immediately and enjoy.
